The Onteora Alumni Association was established to promote  the aims and methods of Boy Scout Camping through:

Financial support to the camp endowment for programs and capital projects benefiting the camp;

Participation of members in camp work week ends to improve camp facilities and programs;

Social opportunities for members, who are former campers, scouters, parents, staff, and individuals who supporting Onteora Scout Reservation.
