Go to the TOUR PLAN Page (updated March 25, 2011) to review the list of activities which need a tour plan filed. Your unit will not need a TOUR PLAN for local activities:
LEADER TRAINING FOR CONDUCTING ACTVITIES Effective January 1, 2009 any unit going camping must have at least one adult leader trained in Hazardous Weather Training. This training is only available online and can be accessed at My Scouting. For Cub Camping, at least one leader must be BALOO trained to go on any overnighter with Cub Scouts. BALOO training is posted at the Training Courses page. All other standards of training and leadership listed on the tour permit application and found in the Guide to Safe Scouting are in effect at all times whether a tour permit is required or not.
