Dear Shelter Rock District Leaders:
I wish to thank and acknowledge all the volunteers that deliver Scouting to the youth within our District as we start a new Scouting program year. Enclosed please find attached items which were distributed at the Shelter Rock District Kickoff held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 for those that were not able to attend. These items will keep your Troop, Pack or Crew informed of the many Council and District events that will help you deliver a great program.
Also, note we have a Facebook Page that will also keep you informed of many of the upcoming events for the year. Our Facebook Page is Shelter Rock District TRC BSA.
Another important way to keep informed and increase your networking relationship with our District and Council is to attend our District Roundtables held on the second Tuesday of each month. Our Roundtable takes place at the Community Church of East Williston in Roslyn, NY. Both Roundtables start at 7:30 pm.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at any time. So, get involved ... be informed .... and thank you again for your service to our Council and District!
