Webelos Woods

Wauwepex Webelos Camp

Webelos Scouts are encouraged to have parent and son overnight experiences away from home. This is an important step in the bridge from Cubs to Scouts. Two great WEBELOS programs are offered to provide Webelos, their parents, and their dens with a fun experience led by experienced Scouters and staff. Webelos Woods is held on two weekends in May, and is designed to showcase camping and basic Scout skills.  Wauwepex WEBELOS Camp is a four-day resident camping experience and is recommended to give Webelos Scouts a taste of sleep-away camp they can enjoy when they become Boy Scouts.

July 8 - 11, 2008.

The fee is $240 per participant

Wauwepex Webelos Camp is open to boys entering the fourth and fifth grades in the fall of 2008.  Campers will stay in tents, have meals provided to them, and experience an expanded Cub Scout program.  The fee is $ TBD.

There is no question that after Wauwepex Webelos Camp, your Scouts will feel good about themselves, have learned new skills, made new friends and had big fun. Most importantly your Webelos will be ready for attending Onteora Scout Reservation with the Troop after bridging over. Wauwepex Webelos Camp promises to be packed with all the elements of the perfect entry-level Boy Scout camping experience!

We encourage you to register as a pack for this adventure and work toward the National Summertime Pack Award - more details provided HERE
