Readings from Wading River

Schiff Scout Reservation  is a 400-acre camp located in the Long Island Pine Barrens at Wading River. The camp surrounds the 30-acre  Deep Pond, which is a kettle hole famous for its Yellow Perch, Pickerel and Sunfish fishing.  Tent sites,  lean-to sites, and cabins available fall, winter, and spring.

The camp honors the Schiff family, long time supporters of Scouting. Schiff  is the home of CAMP WAUWEPEX and the Hendrickson Family Camp.  Schiff programs include:
