Our 400-acre camp is located in the Long Island Pine Barrens at Wading River. The camp surrounds the 30-acre Deep Pond, which is a kettle hole famous for its Yellow Perch, Pickerel and Sunfish fishing.  Tent sites,  lean-to sites, and cabins  are available for fall, winter, and spring camping.

Schiff SR is the home of CAMP WAUWEPEX and the Hendrickson Family Camp The name of the camp honors the Schiff family, long time supporters of Scouting in Nassau County. Schiff programs include:
