Sagamore Recognition to Eagle Scouts

The Sagamore Service Troop was established to recognize the leadership of trained adult Scouters dedicated to lifetime service to Scouting.  The Troop has served our council since 1923, providing training to adults, instruction and counseling to Scouts, and supporting our council camps through programs such as the Pine Tree program, and making camp improvements to provide the necessary facilities and equipment for Scouting activities.

Our troop would like to honor the achievements of the young men in your troop who earn the Eagle Scout Award.  Their demonstration of and commitment to leadership is not unlike the commitment the members of our troop have made to Scouting, and we would like to recognize their achievement.

A recognition certificate has been instituted and is available to all Eagle Scout Award recipients.  Upon request, a member of the Sagamore Service Troop will come to the Court of Honor to present the certificate to the new Eagle Scout.
Please request the certificate at least 4 weeks before the Court of Honor date.  If you need additional information on the program, please email the coordinator of the program, Eric Rosen at and he will contact you.  Our troop looks forward to recognizing the accomplishment of your new Eagle Scouts.
