I've been told I need to take "Training", how do I do that?
The Boy Scouts of America have a variety of training opportunities for you. The basic foundation of being a leader is to complete your Youth Protection Training
. Also available is Fast Start Orientation Training and This is Scouting.
In addition the Theodore Roosevelt Council provides in-person training. The training provided through these opportunities provide an overview and then continue with position specific training through a classroom setting taught by adult leaders who are or have been Cub Scout Leaders. You can find these course offering on the Calendar, the entry on the Calendar will say Cub Training. The letters in front represent the District hosting the training.
