Council Roundtable

 

The 4th annual Council Roundtable will be held on February 2 (Tuesday) at W. Tresper Clarke High School Auditorium and Cafeteria in Westbury (link to directionsExternal Link) from 7pm - 9:30pm

Our popular midway of council programs, museums and STEM activities, adventure activity providers, local college sports staff, and other service organizations will be availble for units to make inquiries and get information about unit program and activity opportunities.  The LI Ducks and NY Cosmos will be providing information on Scout Days and group sales for packs, troops, and crews. The midway will be open from 7:00 pm to 8:45 pm; the key 3 presentation will start at 7:50 pm, and the camping breakout sessions will begin at 8:20 pm.

Breakout sessions include: 

  • Pack and den leaders can attend Webelos Woods, Cub Day Camp, and Cub Family Weekends briefings.  
  • Troop and Crew leaders will be able to find out about new adventures at Onteora Scout Reservation.  

Please register on-line (LINK TO REGISTRATION- door prizes will be made to units through the on-line list of participants representing their units. Door prizes for units (not individuals) will be available to units by entries based on every person registered with their unit identified. Each individaul registration will count for an entry for units.  Door prizes will be drawn and awarded to units that are present at the drawing.  

You can register online until 11:59 PM Sunday 1/31.  Walk ins are welcome but will not be entered into the door prize drawings - you must be pre-registered through on-line registration.  

This year's door prizes include: 

  • One unit will win a Pinewood Derby Kits for a Den (max. 8 kits)
  • One unit will win a free Hayden Hall rental for unit activity 
  • One unit will win a free weekend rental of OSR Gateway Lodge for Crew or Troop
  • One unit will win a free week of summer camp for a Senior Patrol Leader attending the roundtable (SPL must be present)
  • Other Scouting and exhibitor items from our midway
