Was a Cub Scout for about 3 Den Meetings.  Was a Boy Scout for 3 years.  Only made Tenderfoot though.

In the mid 1980's, was asked to be a Scoutmaster of a friend's son's Troop.  Accepted in about 1986 - 87 time slot.  My friend then asked me the next year to be the Assistant Scoutmaster.  I accepted for about another year.

In 1988 became the Cubmaster of the Troop's "Feeder Pack" chartered by the same sponsor.  Was their Cubmaster for about a year and a half until I had to leave due to lack of parent participation and no Pack efforts to make or keep Pack vital.

Became a Cubmaster AGAIN!  This time it was more fun because I had our first of three sons (ok, cue the music and the foot stomping as well as the hand clapping! LOL!)  involved in 2001.  All three of our sons graduated Cub Scouts as 20 Activity Pin Webelos Award Recipients! Makes for two proud parents! Mostly because of my wife, Lori, who was the Webelos Den Leader for our younger two sons and helped our oldest to earn his 20 pins.

Currently, an Assistant Scoutmaster since 2005, and are proud parents of our two older sons becoming Eagle Scouts in 2013 and 2014 respectfully and our youngest son putting in his paperwork for his Eagle candidacy on April 21, 2016.  Where did all that time go to so fast?

I have done many other activities on a District Level that would be too long to write here.  But I am proud of all my accomplishments.  I would not trade it for the world!
