Join us on:     Saturday, October 7, 2017:  10:00am – 4:00pm

Location:       Tackapausha Museum and Preserve

                              2225 Washington Avenue, Seaford, New York 11783

There is NO FEE for this event! Registration is required for attendance purposes; it is a rain or shine event! Water and light snacks will be provided to all participants.  Upon completion of the projects, all registered will receive a patch for their commitment to Conservation!

Southern Section at Museum entrance

–       Southern Section at Riverside Avenue and Sunrise Highway

 

Northern Section at Seaford Avenue and Boston Avenue

–       Central Section at Riverside Avenue and Clark Avenue

Clothing and personal preparation for the event:               

 

There is poison ivy in the work areas.  Wear long sleeve work shirts, long pants, and hiking boots.  Bring work gloves and lawn trash bags. Apply insect repellent prior to arriving at the project areas. Bring a water bottle/canteen and a personal first aid kit. Unit leaders should have copies of participant personal medical forms.

Bring Work Equipment:  Clippers, Trash Bags   (No Power Tools)
